Shipping and Delivery

Night Imp Claymancy manufactures and dispatches orders from Northern Ireland.

Production time and delivery time are separate. Production begins before an order is handed to Royal Mail.

Production times

Normal production estimates are:

  • Standard shop products: 1–2 business days.
  • Custom Cutters: 2–3 business days.
  • Custom Stamps: 2–3 business days.
  • Repeat Items: 2–3 business days.
  • Bulk Custom Cutters: 2–3 business days per eight cutters. For example, 24 cutters normally require approximately 6–9 business days.
  • Rush Bulk Custom Cutters: 1–2 business days per eight cutters. A rush order of 24 cutters normally requires approximately 3–4 business days.

These are working estimates rather than guaranteed completion dates. Complex designs, large quantities, requested revisions, delayed Proof approval, material availability or exceptional order volumes may extend production.

A custom order cannot enter final production until all information and any required Proof approval have been received.

United Kingdom shipping

UK orders use Royal Mail tracked services:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: £2.85.
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: £3.80.
  • Orders of £25 or more: Royal Mail Tracked 48 is free.
  • Customers qualifying for free Tracked 48 may still choose paid Tracked 24 as an upgrade.

The free-shipping threshold is based on the order value after discounts.

International shipping

Current flat tracked rates are:

  • Canada: £12.
  • Australia: £12.
  • Europe: £11.

We do not currently ship to Norway or Switzerland. Countries without an available shipping method at checkout are not currently supported.

Delivery times vary by destination and are not guaranteed. International orders may be delayed by transport disruption, security checks, local postal handling or customs procedures.

Northern Ireland to European Union orders

Goods are dispatched from Northern Ireland under the Northern Ireland arrangements for trade in goods with the European Union.

Night Imp Claymancy is not currently VAT registered, and relevant Northern Ireland-to-EU consumer sales remain below the applicable distance-selling threshold. We therefore do not currently add UK VAT or destination-country EU VAT at checkout.

This treatment may change if our registration position, sales level or the applicable law changes. Any revised treatment will apply to future orders and will be shown before payment.

United States shipping and PDDP

United States orders are sent using Royal Mail’s Postal Delivered Duties Paid service, also referred to as PDDP or DDP.

The USA shipping price includes:

  • Royal Mail postage.
  • The Royal Mail PDDP service charge.
  • An estimated customs duty and additional tariff amount based on the value of the goods.

For eligible resin craft tools, the working customs classification is:

HTSUS 3926909989 — other articles of plastics

The current checkout calculation uses an estimated customs and tariff rate of 15.3% of the goods value, in addition to the fixed postage and PDDP service cost.

Because duties are collected through the PDDP shipping charge, the recipient should not normally be asked to pay additional import duty at delivery. If a carrier or customs authority unexpectedly requests payment, contact us before paying where reasonably possible.

Customs classifications, tariffs, duties and government procedures can change. Updated rates will apply to future orders once reflected at checkout.

Tracking

Tracking information is sent when the order is dispatched. Tracking may take time to update after the parcel is first accepted by Royal Mail.

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order is returned because the address supplied was incomplete, incorrect or refused, additional postage may be required before it can be sent again. This does not apply where the addressing error was caused by Night Imp Claymancy.

Delays and lost parcels

Please contact us if tracking has not updated for an unusual period or the parcel has not arrived within the carrier’s expected timeframe.

We may need to wait until Royal Mail considers a parcel delayed or lost before issuing a replacement or refund. We will not make you wait longer than reasonably necessary where the evidence clearly shows that a parcel has been lost.

Royal Mail confirms that PDDP allows a merchant to collect import VAT, customs duty and the handling fee at checkout so those charges can be paid by the sender.
